As I’ve mentioned on a number of occasions, we are big readers in this family. I’m currently reading a series by M J Arlidge about Britsh Detective Helen Grace, which I am loving.
Toby has really and truly picked up my passion for books, he loves nothing better than nestling himself into you and listening to your voice while check out the illustrations on the pages. When I found this dinosaur pop up book, Encyclopedia Prehistorica Dinosaurs, I couldn’t resist and it has proven to be a huge hit with him, with daily please to look at his ‘special’ book.
There are 35 pop ups in this book and each one is a work of art. Ever page has flaps to lift, corners to explore – I can’t do it justice with words, the whole book is simply spectacular, and is a truly wonderful gift for any dinosaur or pop up lover.
Thanks to the reception this book has received, I’m going to give the other two in the series to the boys for Christmas. One is about Sharks (which they share a common interest in) and the other focuses on Prehistoric mega-beasts. I can’t wait to sit with them and share the wonder in these magical books – and before you think how does it not get ripped, it is one of the few books we only look at with an adult, which makes it even more special.
