Fish watching in the village centre.
I just wanted to share some pictures of our recent weekend break for Reuben’s birthday. We headed to Center Parcs Sherwood Forest – it’s a favourite place for us, its easy to get to, no planes and everything a child or adult could want is right there on your door step. Perfect. So here you go, here are a few of our pictures!
Eating a pancake breakfast before his journey home. A Center Parcs tradition.
Toby was obsessed with feeding the ducks, geese and swans. He went through several loaves of bread.
A quick ice cream stop… well they are on holiday right?!
I love this picture of my mum and Edie, so sweet! Weekend breaks are really about family time.
Reuben’s birthday meal at Huck’s Bar and grill. He loved it!
Shh, don’t look at the plate full of crappy food!
Comparing who had the biggest hot dogs and whose was the best!
In one of the play parks enjoying the tractor.
Daddy pushing Reuben on the swing – one thing I love about Center Parcs weekend breaks is that Reuben gets some seriously important one to one time with his Dad.
Reuben taking his first ride on his first proper bike!
The nature is something that the kids don’t get to appreciate so much at home, and they certainly do here!
The pool. Oh, the pool!
Thanks for looking, I hope it gives you a few ideas of what to do on your long weekend breaks as a family!
