I don’t remember the last time I went out without snacks in my bag, but I do know that every time I come home – even from short journeys – half the snacks are gone. Let’s face it children want to eat almost all of the time and especially if its their favourite snacks. A drinks bottle that everyone can use
There are so many patterns to choose from and no worrying about BPA or anything else toxic as they are stainless steel!
I can guarantee if I go out without drinks in my bag I will hear a little voice say ‘Mama, I want apple juice’ which is fine, if I can get to a shop to buy him a drink… but then of course Toby wants some and you can’t always guarantee he won’t spill it everywhere, so I always carry a none spill beaker in my bag, one that is big enough for both boys, but is something they can both drink from. I love these stainless steel Blafre bottles, which also come as thermo flasks, so if it is really cold in winter and you are planning a trip out you can take warm drinks too! A Muslin Square – the most multifunctional item you will ever possess!
Adorable patterns, super soft and durable – Musy are my absolute favourite muslin squares.
The final thing to make my top five must have list for Mama’s bag is a muslin square. Its a wipe, a tissue, a feeding cover or bib, a comfort blanket… basically it does everything! You don’t have to carry a huge one that will take up half your bag but I am never without one in my handbag just in case. In fact I now have one in my handbag for when I don’t have the kids – my friends laugh at me when it comes out and there are no kids around, but if I spill something and need to wipe it up, its there ready!
