Spring can have a twist of nostalgia this year with Milou & Pilou creating such wonderful vintage inspired pieces.
You know by now that I am a sucker for vintage, nostalgic fashion – there is something about the way we dress our children years ago that is just so sweet. Nothing was too grown up or flamboyant (unless your parents indulge in 80/90s mega prints…).

That’s why I wanted to share with you all their delightful Milou & Pilou. This adorable brand from Barcelona offers the most stylish clothing for girls aged 2 to 10. The styles are totally classic, with tonnes of Liberty print (a favourite of mine for Edith at the moment and a huge spring trend) plus glorious vintage-styles like little braces over skirts that are just a bit too cute! For me it’s not just the styles but the fabrics the clothing is made in that make this brand stand out. I love cool linens for summer and spring, and organic cotton is perfect for all year round and gentle against children’s delicate skin. I also adore the fact that the creator of the brand, Alicia, uses local seeing shops to make the products.
Anything that can look this good, whilst still retaining its functionality so that kids can play, run, skip and go crazy, is a must have for me!
