I’ve mentioned on a number of occasions how much I adore the change of seasons for clothing – there is just something so sweet about putting on that first pair of shorts for the Spring sunshine or donning that poly jumper to keep away the nipping wind in Autumn. Anyway, one of the things I am really coveting this year is the opportunity to buy new clothing for my little girl for the warmer months. I haven’t ever had the chance to buy clothing for little girl, it’s always been for the boys, so I just find it so exciting!
As the days are now getting warmer I have been searching for some new clothes for Edith (a lot of what she has is thick and wooly because, well it’s chilly and she’s so small still!) and I have come across a brand that is definitely jumping into my go-to shopping guide for darling heirloom fashion for girls.
Hoity-Toity is perfect on so many levels. Firstly, this is a brand that designs it’s clothes to last and be passed down through generations. The pieces are just utterly adorable, timeless, classics that are perfect for special occasions or just for something to make your little one look and feel special no matter what day it is. The brand reminds me of quintessentially English tea parties in the garden, running through meadows and making daisy chains in the sunshine (can you tell I grew up in the countryside?). Hoity-Toity ticks more than just my style box, it is also a brand that champions sustainability and is made using ethically sourced organic cotton and other materials. They even use low impact water based dyes, which are environmentally safe, for their digital prints.
My favourite style this Spring is liberty print and floral patterns (they just sing of summer don’t they?!) and I just can’t wait to get Edie into some beautiful bloomers like these when she is older, not forgetting the ballet shoes (oh my goodness, so sweet?) in the collection too.
