Cecil the crocodile scarf has to be one of my favourite piece by Sara Carr. It’s so sweet and almost makes me look forward to the crisp Autumn weather… almost!
I do love lambswool, it’s such a wonderful natural fibre. There is something really ideal about a cuddly toy for a child (especially one under 2 years old) that is made from lambswool – not only is it hypoallergenic but it is perfect for providing warmth during the cold months, and breathable during the warmer summer months. Nothing smells worse than a sweaty teddy, and hell hath no fury like a toddler whose favourite teddy is in the wash.
That is just one of the reasons I love these bespoke, handmade toys from Sara Carr. Her toys are just really sweet, made out of pure lambswool and then stuffed to bring them to life. Each piece is handmade to order and embroidered by the designer. So sweet.
I also love Sara’s adorable lambswool scarves, they are just so cool. The crocodile scarf is my favourite, and I am almost (ALMOST) looking forward to the start of Autumn when they boys will need one.
