A few days ago I finally relented to letting the boys go out into the garden and play in the mud and gravel with their dump trucks. They were still in their pajamas and it was only when I followed them outside that I realised how bitterly cold it was! So back in we came for big, thick knitted jumpers, socks and winter boots!!
Anyway, this got me thinking, at this time of year I am always on the hunt for knitwear brands that stand out or that I haven’t come across before. On one of my ‘hunts’ I found Aymara knitwear, a really stylish company that produces the most wonderful knitwear, made with Peruvian cotton – some of the best in the world in case you didn’t know!
The company was born in 2007 and is the result of a love story between a Belgium engineer and a Peruvian travel agent, who quit their jobs when they fell in love to start up their own company together. So sweet.
I love the designs that this company produce, and because of the fibers in the material, the knitwear is so soft and luxurious to touch.
You can shop their E-shop here and get something that will help keep you snuggly, despite the impending cold. Brr.

P.s – Aymara also makes womenswear, which is divine. You may well want to join me in flexing the credit card on this one girls!
